The Dow Jones Information Fund will train additional than 100 faculty learners to function this summer in compensated internships in 77 newsrooms all-around the country. This signifies the major class in virtually a decade and just one of the most various in the Fund’s history.
20-nine interns will go to the News Fund’s virtual small business reporting software, led by Paul Glader, a professor and director of the McCandlish Phillips Journalism Institute at The King’s College or university.
Ten other enterprise reporting interns will go to a digital instruction session led by Glader and Garry D. Howard, director of company initiatives at American Town Business enterprise Journals, before reporting to operate at ACBJ publications in 10 markets all around the place.
Howard, a Information Fund board member and an alumnus of the 1981 enhancing program, produced the DJNF-ACBJ partnership in 2015.
